The Children’s Cancer Foundation, Inc. (CCF) extends our deepest appreciation to Shoppers Food for their campaign that launched in September and concluded on October  11th. Shoppers Food Stores throughout Maryland and Virginia participated in the campaign, where customers could donate $1, $3, or $5 at checkout. Once the campaign concluded, Shoppers customers had raised nearly $8,000.

Thanks to the support and leadership of Jennifer Newport, Manager, Community/Customer Relations, Shoppers and CCF built a successful partnership that lead to this new program. Shoppers Food has been a local corporate supporter of CCF’s mission over the years through different programs.

Tasha Museles, CCF President, praised Jennifer and Shoppers for their willingness to support a new program, “The generosity of Shoppers customers was heartwarming. CCF is thrilled to engage with Shoppers and look forward to building on this concept for 2025.”

Funds raised from this campaign ensure that vital pediatric cancer research continues.
