On November 2, 2024, The Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) will host its 40th Annual Gala at Martin’s Crosswinds, in Greenbelt, Maryland. Local sponsors, families, researchers, and others will come together to recognize the outstanding efforts of local honorees.

CCF is proud of our longstanding partnership with Presenting Sponsor Pepsi, a loyal supporter of CCF’s mission. CCF additionally extends appreciation to Gala sponsors including Coca Cola Consolidated, JOH, Dole Fresh Vegetables, Giant Food and Sysco. Annually, CCF presents the Fighter Award to a local company who demonstrates a commitment to supporting the local community. The 2024 Fighter Award will be presented to Keystone Electric. Since 1918, Keystone has manufactured and refurbished of electric motors and been a fabricator of various parts for the industry from power plants to oil refineries serving the east coast. The 2024 CCF Hero Award, recognizing an individual committed to increasing awareness and funding for pediatric cancer, will be presented to Grace Callwood. Callwood, a childhood cancer survivor, and founder of the local non-profit We Cancerve Movement, Inc. has been a long-time partner of CCF and friend to the local pediatric cancer community.

One of the CCF Gala’s primary goals is to present the Annual Grant Awards. Since 1983, the Children’s Cancer Foundation has donated more than $43M in grants to area hospitals and researchers to treat and cure childhood cancers.
