On June 19, 2023, at Whiskey Creek Golf Course, Saval Foodservice raised $25,000 at its 19th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting The Children’s Cancer Foundation, Inc. (CCF). Over 120 golfers participated in this year’s tournament, which raises funds through the generous support of many local sponsors.
Saval Foodservice has loyally supported CCF, raising over $300,000 since its first Golf Tournament in 2003. Such a longstanding partnership has helped further CCF in its mission to advance treatments and cures for pediatric cancers. Paul, Jeff and Brian Saval continue this family tradition and with Saval’s support, CCF invests in vital local research and programs ensuring better treatments and cures are available for all pediatric cancer patients.
CCF is grateful to the entire Saval team for their loyal and generous commitment to our mission. Their support means that vital cancer research continues. Learn about researchers currently supported by CCF grants.
CCF is grateful to the Miller and Bartels Families, who joined Tasha at the tournament. Emma Miller is a cancer survivor. Dad, Mike Miller, shared their family’s journey. Alisha Bartels shared her family’s journey with golfers. Alisha, Jay and Olivia Bartels lost their son (and brother) John Eric to a neuroblastoma 16 years ago.
