CCF receives proceeds from Taekwondo Championship

On April 5, the recently-established Maryland Taekwondo Day, Governor Larry Hogan and First Lady Yumi Hogan hosted a reception in Annapolis to recognize the winners of the Governor’s Cup Taekwondo Championship held on March 25th.

We are grateful to the Gov. and First Lady for designating that proceeds of this event go to The Children’s Cancer Foundation and further its mission to treat and cure childhood cancer. Thank you to Master CJ Chang of the U.S Taekwondo Academy in Harford County, the Maryland State Taekwondo Association and all the participants for helping raise over $5000 to the cause!

: Gov. Hogan demonstrates his board-breaking skills. He successfully split 5 boards held by Master Chang.
