On June 16, at Whiskey Creek Golf Course, Saval Foodservice raised $30,000 at its 18th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit The Children’s Cancer Foundation, Inc. (CCF). It was a perfect day with over 120 golfers participating. The Tournament raised funds with the generous support of many local sponsors.
Saval Foodservice has loyally supported CCF, raising over $30,000 since its first Golf Tournament in 2003. Such a longstanding partnership has helped further CCF in its mission to advance treatments and cures for pediatric cancers. Paul, Jeff and Brian Saval continue this family tradition and with Saval’s support, CCF invests in vital local research and programs ensuring better treatments and cures are available for all pediatric cancer patients.
CCF is grateful to the entire Saval team for their loyal and generous commitment to our mission. Learn about researchers currently supported by CCF grants.
CCF is grateful to the Miller Family, who joined us during the Awards Program. Emma Miller is a cancer survivor. Dad, Mike Miller, shared their family’s journey. Also joining CCF is the Bartels family. Alisha, Jay and Olivia Bartels enjoyed the afternoon at Whiskey Creek. They lost their son (and brother) John Eric to a neuroblastoma. Alisha shared their journey during the program.
