Evening’s honorees

Fighter Award – Keystone Electric

Established in 1918, Keystone is a manufacturer and refurbisher of electric motors as well as a fabricator of various parts for the industry from power plants to oil refineries serving the east coast from Maine to Florida. We are thrilled to recognize this company so supportive of the cause.

Hero Award – Grace Callwood, Survivor and Founder, We Cancerve Movement

At the age of seven in 2011, Grace was diagnosed with Stage IV lymphoblastic lymphoma. Treated at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Grace was declared cancer-free after completing chemotherapy in 2014. Grace created the We Cancerve Movement, Inc., months after her diagnosis recognizing she could make a difference in the lives of children in challenging situations. We Cancerve Movement, Inc. has served more than 33,000 local and overseas kids, bringing happiness to homeless, critically-ill, food insecure, and foster children.

Today, at the age of twenty, Grace is in her sophomore year at Howard University. Her accomplishments are many and her passion to give back to the community makes her the perfect hero. CCF is proud to present this deserved award to Grace.
