Intending to provide an opportunity for ‘kids to be kids’ for a few hours, away from treatment, a hospital, or therapy, CCF has organized a treatment-free afternoon for pediatric cancer patients, survivors, siblings, and parents for the past 21 years.

The event offers lunch, Santa, a make-your-own pizza station, face painting, fire truck tours, and raffles. The day is often the first chance that an entire family has been able to enjoy a meal and relax together in months. It also creates an opportunity for camaraderie among families, something so many cancer families miss due to isolation during treatments and missed activities.
