Students from Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity, at American University agreed to take a ‘pie in the face’ to raise funds for CCF. Verónica Del Carpio, Vice President of Outreach and Alumni Relations at Alpha Kappa Psi, contacted CCF on behalf of the group. The group includes about 40 undergraduate students.
The American University community was very generous- or perhaps eager to put a pie in the face of a friend- and raised over $400 for The Children’s Cancer Foundation, Inc.
Tasha Museles, CCF President, joined the group on December 5th. The donation will make a difference in our effort to ensure research continues for vital treatments and cures for pediatric cancer.
