On June 17, 2025, at Whiskey Creek Golf Course, Saval Foodservice raised $25,000 at its 21st Annual Golf Tournament benefiting The Children’s Cancer Foundation, Inc. (CCF). Over 130 golfers participated in this year’s tournament, which raises funds through the generous support of many local sponsors, including Truist Bank and McCain foods, who were the Platinum Sponsors this year.
Saval Foodservice has loyally supported CCF since 2003, raising over $425,000 since its first golf tournament. Such a longstanding partnership has helped CCF further our mission to advance treatments and cures for pediatric cancers. Paul, Jeff and Brian Saval continue this family tradition, and with Saval’s support, CCF invests in vital local research and programs ensuring better treatments and cures are available for all pediatric cancer patients. Researchers currently funded by CCF can be found here.
A very big thank you to CCF Chairman Jerry Chadwick and business partner Dave Ryder for supporting CCF at the event. CCF is also grateful to Alisha Bartels, who shared her family’s journey. The Bartels lost their son (and brother) John Eric to a neuroblastoma 16 years ago. John Eric’s 19th birthday was June 18. Thank you to sister Olivia Bartels who volunteered the entire day. CCF was thrilled to have cancer survivor JJ Nixon and his mother, Brennae Rich and sister Nyla join us.
CCF is grateful to the entire Saval team for their loyal and generous commitment to our mission.
