On June 18th, CCF received a $75,000 grant from The Safeway Foundation. CCF Board member Bryan Caudle, District Manager of Safeway Mid-Atlantic Division, joined CCF President Tasha Museles for the check presentation.
During the month of April, Safeway customers from Maryland, D.C., Virginia, and Delaware donated nearly $360,000 at checkout during Safeway’s fundraising effort that supports local organizations that engage in cancer research, prevention, and treatment. CCF was one of 14 regional and local organizations to receive the proceeds from this fundraising campaign.
CCF is grateful to be included as one of Safeway Foundation’s 2021 beneficiary organizations seen as making a significant impact in the lives of Safeway’s customers. With a partnership extending over 30 years with Safeway, CCF looks forward to continuing the relationship, as together, we continue to search for cures for pediatric cancer.
